World Cup 2006 - Qualifying Draw

The qualifying draw for the football World Cup 2006 has happened! Enland have been drawn against neighbours Wales and Northern Ireland.

England Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson insisted England's World Cup 2006 qualifying draw is "absolutely not easy". England will also play Azerbaijan, Austria and Poland to reach the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany. Eriksson tipped Wales and Poland to provide the toughest tests.

Meanwhile Scotland have been drawn in Qualifying Group 5 and have a tough test, meeting Italy, Slovenia, Norway, Belarus and Moldova. Whilst the Republic of Ireland will play France, Switzerland, Israel, Cyprus and Faroe Islands.
